🔒 Your financial data never leaves your device. emiGo: EMI & Loan performs all calculations locally. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal or financial information.
1. Information We Collect
emiGo does not require an account and does not collect personally identifiable information. The figures you enter (income, expenses, loan amounts, interest rates) are used only to perform calculations within the app.
2. How Your Data Is Used
All calculations and financial analysis are performed entirely on your device. Your data is used solely to provide you with loan calculations, comparisons, and financial insights within the app.
3. Data Storage
Data is stored locally on your device using browser storage (localStorage). This data:
- Remains on your device at all times
- Is never transmitted to any server
- Can be deleted at any time by clearing the app data
- Is not shared with any third parties
Optional backup files you export are saved by you (to your device or a share target you choose). Those files stay under your control; we never receive them.
4. No Tracking or Advertising
The app contains no advertising, no third-party tracking SDKs, and no user profiling. We do not track your activity, and we do not collect any analytics about how you use the app.
Our website may use a privacy-focused, cookie-free service to count aggregate page visits. This applies to the website only, never to the app, and it does not identify individual visitors or access any financial information.
5. Permissions and Internet Access
The app functions fully offline. No personal or financial data entered in the app is transmitted over the internet. Internet access is used only if you choose to send feedback via your own email app, or to load a web update of the Progressive Web App.
6. Children's Privacy
emiGo is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
